أولاً: قاعدة Past Continuous
الماضي المستمر
موقعها في الكتاب
هذه القاعدة ليست قاعدة رئيسية في الوحدات الظاهرة من الصفحات المرفوعة، لكنها تُستخدم
أحيانًا في النصوص والقصص مثل وحدة Adventures عندما يصف النص حدثًا كان يحدث في الماضي.
مثال من قصة الوحدة (مشابه لأسلوب النصوص):
They were walking when they heard someone.
كانوا يمشون عندما سمعوا شخصًا.
✏️ متى نستخدم Past Continuous؟
نستخدمه عندما:
1️⃣ حدث كان مستمرًا في الماضي
2️⃣ حدث كان يحدث عندما وقع حدث آخر
تركيب الجملة
Subject + was / were + verb + ing
الضمير الفعل
I / He / She / It was
You / We / They were
✏️ أمثلة
I was reading a book.
كنت أقرأ كتابًا.
They were playing football.
كانوا يلعبون كرة القدم.
She was sleeping.
كانت نائمة.
❌ النفي
Subject + was / were + not + verb + ing
مثال:
He wasn't studying.
لم يكن يدرس.
They weren't playing.
لم يكونوا يلعبون.
❓ السؤال
Was / Were + subject + verb + ing ?
مثال:
Was he running?
هل كان يركض؟
Were they watching TV?
هل كانوا يشاهدون التلفاز؟
ثانياً: Relative Pronouns
ضمائر الوصل
موقعها في الكتاب
ضمائر الوصل تظهر في النصوص داخل الوحدات مثل:
Unit 5 – Favourite Clothes
Unit 6 – Adventures
Unit 7 – Entertainment
حيث تُستخدم لربط جملتين معًا داخل النصوص.
✏️ ما هي ضمائر الوصل؟
هي كلمات تربط جملتين وتصف شخصًا أو شيئًا أو مكانًا.

هذا المنتزه الذي نلعب فيه.
